This time yesterday the hrrr was showing 4-6” imby. Only model putting accumulating snow imby fwiw. Didn’t see a flake within 75 miles. Euro did decent with the placement of the band but not the totals.

Wow. I guess even the snowflakes aren’t happy about the month if they were walking out of the liquor store.

Outta gas and Outta Time: Early March Winter Storm finale

Well I know we dont do severe here. So there is no point once the winter is over. Although I did post a tornado that ran through my hood a few years ago. It was invigorating. -

Phoenix experienced its warmest February on record with a monthly mean temperature of 67.6°. That broke the prior record of 66.0°, which was set in 1991 and tied just last year. Powered by the warmest December and February on record, Phoenix experienced its warmest winter on record, by far. Its winter mean temperature of 63.8° was similar to a typical winter in Melbourne, FL. Its seasonal mean temperature also exceeded the figure from March-May 1917. E PA/NJ/DE Winter 2025-26 Obs/Discussion
Albedoman replied to LVblizzard's topic in Philadelphia Region
This is how close we almost got wacked with ice jams this year. This picture is from the Upper PA forum this afternoon. If we had had the precip pattern that we normally are accustomed to, the Delaware River would have looked like this all the way to Ft Washington, This was taken on the Susequehanna in Luzerne County. The extreme cold with no precip for 3-5 weeks is still unbeleivable. I believe after March 15, the precip machine will finally turn on for us. The drought warning that we are in is basically for groundwater issues as there has no groundwater recharge since last summer. -
@Jebman Ever watch this guy's videos?

I have to revise the thigh to 63 for today. -
I'm ready to warm up and close the shades til around St Patrick's day for one last chance at something worthwhile. Unfortunately I think we are due for an ick Spring, especially with those SSTs
-
I love snow as much as the next but I’m thrilled we’re almost done with this winter - 60’s by next weekend!
-
They will probably really try to push their close date this season an extra weekend or two barring a weather calamity. Arrived at Palisades this afternoon...60 degrees at the base and most of the 90" gone. Crazy.

Somehow I don't think tracking is done this year.... Especially for west of the fall line. -
Spent the day in the garden getting stuff prepped. It felt fantastic to be out there digging and moving stuff around. My dad sent me pics from Delaware today. Fucker still has like 16 inches on the ground. Ever since my parents moved there 8 years ago they have beaten me out here for snow. It is ridiculous. So I will just start growing my garden earlier. Fuck him.

Bring it. I don't give AF if we don't have snow as long as it's mid 40s for another month. Plenty of time for 60s and 70s. Save it for late April. Let's delay as long as we can.
