Absolutely.

The GFS is showing tons of sleet and a much deeper wedge signature in the temps, but I suppose the timing of onset relative to the HP building in is a big factor.

Already down to 11°.

January 24-25: Miracle or Mirage

Yeah I’m just saying there’s like 30+ members with really good solutions at this time I’m not sweating the 4 too amped and 4 suppressed or whatever it is. Especially not when pretty much every model supports the EPS. -

Welcome back haz! I know Steve will be grabbing a whopper in your honor if the models continue in this direction -
I drink, check the models, drink, place bets, drink, check the models again.

100%, I road that line last year back in February. 15.9" here of HUGE fatties while 20 miles to my south was a pingfest with 5".

Sorry to jump in from the NOVA forum. I am out in Winchester. Dont sweat the mixing too much. This is a really rare airmass we are going to be dealing with. CAD is all the way down to SC. Even if you mix all of you will get buried before the switch. This is going to be one historic storm for VA. Possibly the biggest ever as far as the number of counties hit. Crazy stuff. -
Some people have different post per page settings. Not only that, I’d think many people use the “show latest posts” so they won’t miss your post. I’m not sure you’ll lose many or any post views from positioning is my point! Unless I’ve missed like 10+ pages, I always try to read through all the stuff I’ve missed

I've been searching for our missing two feet of snow. Last three winters we maxed out at 27" snow on ground, the max so far this winter is 5 inches (now a frozen three). Somebody must have our snow! -
Ironically we haven't had this much precip since April. You might want to capture it, as we probably will have a drought summer again.

Now that I've done like Phillip Rivers and got called out of retirement, I'm forced to play catch up on what's transpired during the day. From what I gather: * some ice in the Carolinas *some heavy snow DC/NYC *some element of snow in SNE *cold north of route 2. Does that pretty much sum it up? -
my deepest condolences.

If you are still in Gardner you should be closer to 30” That extra 0.75” this morning pushed me to 30.25”’ or so -
Looks like we’ve reached the storm phase where we’re both worried about suppression AND amped.
