  1. Past hour
  2. East side of Columbia imby 1.45” in about 1 hr. Gusty winds for about 20 seconds as the cell came up I-95. Raining lightly now.
  3. Power is out. Looked like some slight rotation as it moved through here with heavy winds.
  4. Those strong storms will hit a virtual wall at the border. Some might sneak into extreme S Lancaster County but I’d not expect any severe.
  5. Really strange thunder just now. Sounded like a shelf fell of a wall.
  6. Temperature has dropped to 52 at the house behind the NW flow showers. We likely are heading toward the mid 40’s in the morning of the last day of May!
  7. I can't speak for other regions, but we're kinda "due". <3
  8. Just not enough surface instability to get things going.
  9. Just took this at the summit of Big Bald elev. 5516' Yes I'm wearing gloves. And my parka lol. I can't believe that nobody else is up here. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
  10. 70 today. Took the boat out briefly today, first time this year. Brutal start to the boating season.
  11. Looks like this will ultimately be a bit of a bust up here. Had one round just move through and one last batch moving through now before the lull (not really expecting much from the wraparound stuff). Looking forward to the summer-like weather next week.
  12. A day like today with a similar vort pass but with perhaps better mid-level lapse rates and a bit more instability would have probably yielded a substantial outbreak. As it stands it was already quite impressive with the number of warnings.
  13. I was just looking at that. That’s a wild radar for late May around Morgantown.
  14. I drove out of the neighborhood and along Randolph from Kemp Mill east to New Hampshire before turning south and then back into my neighborhood. Nothing much of note. The canvas sign from a church along Randolph was torn off and some tiny twigs around in spots but nothing to note otherwise.

  16. I would rather have a repeat of this past winter than 09-10.
  17. .89 on the day + 8.69" for the month. Fun day!
  18. On the non severe side, this comma head ain't no joke. Winds routinely gusting in the 40s and a driving rain (nearing 0.40" and just getting started). If this was January, I'd be wetting myself.
  19. I made out fine here in Kemp Mill. I think people just a mile north of me may have had problems
  20. Just drove thru an absolute torrential downpour.
  21. Heavy rain but luckily no wind.
  22. Four in New England last year for June can we double it?
  23. Found it - CWG says its scud FWIW https://x.com/capitalweather/status/1928599140839088251
  24. Radar seems to be blossoming with heavy rain SW of DC and getting ready to start training over the lowlands.
  25. This area seems to be looking better. About to pass over me headed for Bmore
