Just had a snow shower with one of those lake effect streamers moving SE. First one of the season. No accumulation.

Watching those quick moving snow showers and squalls moving through northern and western NJ currently. Getting a snow shower now.

I’m not there but it’s snowing pretty good right now from what a few friends tell me. Webcam no help, but you can see it’s getting blown all around and must have come down decent for a while, as that’s from today. .

Maybe a period of light snow on Tuesday night with an outside chance of minor accumulations in elevated spots of NNJ, NEPA, or SENY? There's been a slow and gradual trend towards higher QPF over the past few days on most of the mid-range models and with overnight timing and a marginal antecedent airmass, it's not out of the question. The shortwave is dampening, but once in a while these end up more robust than modeled.

Found some snow - coming down pretty good in Montreal tonight - long drive to drop my oldest and spouse off tomorrow at the airport as they move to Spain - but the snow this evening is a delight after a long day.

Kind of a dud so far… flow is too chaotic, not blocked enough. Should’ve known the Froude of 1.5+ for today was going to do less organized precip and mostly just windy snow showers into the NEK. Still should see it try to organize nocturnally as the the flow was going to try and block up a bit after midnight.

That low just north of DE Maine is down to 978mb over NS.

Just a few weenie flakes. Most of the action missed me.

Well yeah, in general the extended products suggest we may have a shot at seeing actual flakes in Dec. A rarity lately. Hopefully it will at least be on the cold side.

5 inches of snow in DC, about 2.5x of climo. that's great! but like @WxUSAF implies sometimes, i'd rather get that 2.5x climo in january or february (which is 12.5" instead of 5")

I live in a pretty good area for electricity. I was pretty surprised when the lights flickered because it doesn’t happen often. Couple of house shakers for sure.
