  5. Hey neighbor… just remember, none of us have any control over that’s going to happen. And whatever does happen, try to enjoy it or have some time to relax as it snows outside. .
  6. Hmmm... 00z HRRR really spiking temperatures too...
  7. I'll take 6-8" anything 6" or less and I'll call it a bust. Just really looking forward to a full daytime snow on Sunday and not everything during the night hours.
  8. My cover might be blown. Wife: what time are we leaving Sunday, when does the snow start? Me: oh I'm not sure when it starts, I assume we'll just leave mid morning on Sunday (hee hee) Wife: you've been monitoring this storm nonstop all week, don't tell me you don't know when it's gonna start snowing Me: Ehhhh, uhhhh, depends on the warm nose and 850 temps and other stuff we won't know for sure til Sunday morning. Virga! Wife:....
  9. Dropped below 0 earlier than expected here tonight. Temp has been dropping this afternoon/evening quickly! exciting to finally have a nice storm to track. Best of luck to everyone, the tracking finale tomorrow into a snowy Sunday funday sounds like a great weekend! Enjoy!
  10. You’re consistently the most pessimistic poster here so your comment isn’t surprising.
  11. Temperature down to 12 here. 8:40 p.m.
  12. Hopefully @Eskimo Joe post about the warm layer, he just made a few minutes ago over in the MA verifies all through the mid atlantic and northeast.
  13. I think cad will at some point tick SN/Ip line a bit further SE but it may not be till after it adjusts a tick (or2) further NW really hope further WAA intrusion is stopped at 0z or 6z
  14. It's a really nice thump. DC 8 inches plus. More north and west.
  15. Man, I dunno who was more excited about the snow this week at work, us or the kids. I have to proctor a test tomorrow morning. I was hoping they might postpone it with the cold, but I'm not surprised they kept it.
  16. Prob Jan 22 but don’t remember much of that and anything before
  17. Latest HRRR has south of i-66/50 holding as snow thru 15z, then flipping around the metros at 16z. 0.6" QPF pre-flip
