  1. Past hour
  2. From your lips to God's ears, but so far every time it looks that way the hole comes roaring back. HRRR says we could get another inch, but it also says it should be snowing here now and it's not. My total is 17", so not the worst skunking ever.
  3. The band over the city seems to be drying up.
  4. Several measurements and looks like about 13”, Sparta. .
  5. We definitely met those conditions here too.
  6. Flurries and lt Snshrs continue here with a Temperature of 24. Rather fast melting is occurring from underneath. Ground Temp's are still giving.off heat. Some melting from Solar as well .
  7. actually looks like something is forming to the east heading west maybe the best isn't over
  8. EWR All-Time Records (as best I can tell):Jan. 1996 - 27.6"Dec. 1947 - 26.7"Feb. 2026 - 25.6" and counting as of 1100
  9. Cars are now disappearing under the snow
  10. I just looked up the account on twitter he has a video of it looks bogus to me , looks like a drift a radar wasn’t that good there the last hour to get 5” additional.
  11. after another quick burst down to moderate.. best might be done here now.. but that was awesome!!!
  12. Worth a watch https://www.earthcam.com/usa/massachusetts/provincetown/?cam=capecodbay
  13. Where are you getting these reports? Need some corroborating evidence.
  14. Yeah getting crushed again here, band rebuilt over most of rockland. Not as heavy as the stuff at 6-8 am but gonna give us a few more inches before it shuts off.
  15. How much did you record/measure in Garwood?
  16. Are those official? And is that Charlestown report legit??
  17. I could be wrong but it sounds like everyone at work just wanted the extra day off, sound reasoning be darned. Which would make that really unfair for you to take that kind of flak. You certainly made a better forecast call than I did there. The other part of your post is a really good example of why I personally don’t do the YouTube/F-Book/Twitter Met stuff. I’d much rather discuss in a place like this forum where enough of the regulars (certainly not all haha) for the most part understand the difficulty in nailing this stuff down. Don’t ever be discouraged making your forecast calls in here.
  18. I’m hearing a 40 burger report in RI I think got too look at it again.
  19. Better than 12:1 ratios in the good bands with the LE to snow here.
  20. I’m under a solid band now. Heaviest snow here since dawn.
  21. Indeed - they also met it again this morning I believe - so technically a two day blizzard verification.
  22. Not sure where they’ll put the snow on the NJ coast if this verifies!
  23. Looks like Cook County will be a big winner here with Lake enhanced snows.
