Maybe we'll get something in October but it has been a bust of a season. -

Yeah, looking like a great fall foliage Season over there. Not looking good here due to an extended dry period (2 weeks) that just ended. Some color now but many just brown, dead leaves falling. -

Ryan Maue @RyanMaue Hurricane Season Update | Tuesday Evening September 23, 2025 High chance of both Invest 93L & 94L developing into hurricanes with a risk to the U.S. East Coast from one of them. Major intensity on table for both --> High Uncertainty Updated ECMWF 18z cycle has Humberto and Imelda moving in concert to the NNW Highly unusual to have twin hurricanes not repelling each other or orbiting a center of mass. Uncertainty = HIGH with these two systems (currently Invest 93L and Invest 94L)

This is quite the setup moving forward. Really need to see how 94L interacts with Hispaniola. 93L is on its way to development imo.

Holland picked up in 3 days the same that fell all summer. Localized cloudburst dropped over 2” in about 45 minutes IMBY this evening. Heaviest I have seen it rain this whole year. This isn’t on that map yet. SE side of GR needed it so bad.

Getting lightning detections in my area. Maybe we'll actually get something. -
As is, that’s moving too slow. That thing wouldn’t even produce a wind gust at Worcester. But just a light breezes on the Cape. Can’t move a system that slowly over cold water that large south of Long Island. The oceanic boundary layer becomes an impenetrable inversion, and there would be no wind beneath the cloud height, particularly when there’s rising pressure in the core.

Ravens don't wobble in updated super bowl betting odds.. 1/5.5, greater than before the season started (they were 1/6.5) Part of that is because of how bad the division is: Pitt 1/66 odds Cincy 1/125 odds Browns 1/500 odds

It appears my rain chances for tomorrow have fallen to 40%. Sent from my SM-G970U1 using Tapatalk

Pleasantly surprised this evening with 0.30" after a brief deluge followed by some steadier rain. Several good flashes of lightening and some thunder, enough to send the dog scurrying into one of her hiding spots.
