  1. Past hour
  2. Mid Latitude peak is supposed to be early in the morning. Might be best right before sunrise?
  3. Was one of my favorite storms ever. NAM absolutely nailed it
  4. Where are these posted on LWX’s site? I no longer see it under the Winter Weather section.
  5. I got stuck in the subsidence/dry slot for like 5-6 hours between the WAA and CCB but still got about 22” in 2016. That was a fun storm.
  6. Long range has other threats too. Hard to think about with this one 4-5 days out but the next month looks fascinating
  7. I see the classic wake county gradient on the euro! .
  8. Rotation might be happening right now, but no telling how long it will take or how strong it ends up on the other side of it. Think we could still manage a nice show if it doesn’t fizzle out before the rotation completes. But will be later on tonight that we find out regardless.
  9. I would say so. Probably somewhat dependent on how far up the coast it goes.
  10. Erie is at around 50” on the season and the lake is about to freeze. Which means at the airport, we need another 50” to hit average and we’re relying purely on synoptic. That’s a very tough ask. 13-14 was above the 105” average and even last year was.
  11. For the first time in my life I'm praying for a south trend.
  12. Yep. Blowing around everywhere. Snow drifts always amaze me the most about big storms. What causes them to form where they do. I am guessing some kind of eddy in the wind causes it. But when it comes to shoveling I would prefer if it stayed on the roof.
  13. My first call because why not: NYC - 4.6 ISP - 5.3 AC - 8.5 DC - 11 BOS - 2
  14. Were you able to see that with your eyes? I didnt see anything when I looked.
  15. Not worried about the jack.. I'm worried about the complete rug pull lol
  16. I think the blue line is the main run and green is the average.
  17. I got 30" in Rockville 2016. Rode the edge of the dryslot and it was puking for hours. I'll never forget that one.
  18. If some of these snowfall totals hold true, has there ever been a time the entire friggin state was buried under 1'+ of snow??
