  1. Past hour
  2. Good point, but there are a lot of snowblowers out there.
  3. Hey what has not "jinxing" gotten us the last 10 years anyway? Lol
  4. But does he ever say less snowy? Been going on a decade+ now.
  5. In OOB for the weekend. Drive through the Kanc. Times it perfect for catching the sunset at the top.
  6. Today
  7. Somber day. Hard to believe Katrina was 20 years ago.
  8. This morning DVN had no rain in the forecast for the QCA. This evening we picked up the best rains of the month, with 0.71". Mother nature making up for the screw jobs a few weeks ago it seems.
  9. Yeah. I brought that up in the Tenn Valley Sub. If those SST'S around Newfoundland remain similar to now along with the QBO State, I think the likelihood of a -NAO is greater than many think.
  10. That Winter was weak nina to neutral enso. I'm thinking a -PDO existed. My antique memory is not so good anymore. Should just look it up to be sure.
  11. My snowblower hasn’t been started since 2016. I’m going to work on it next week and make sure it is still operable because it’s just time. It’s way too early for a jinx, right?
  12. Drought? lol.. you mean draught?
  13. Low of 59, lowest of the month and our first time into the 50's since early June. High was 88.
  14. I gotta say. This cool airmass is impressive not only in strength but in duration. I mean, the sun has been set for about an hour and a half here and the temperature is already down into the 40s. That’s impressive for August even if it is at the end of the month.
  15. Last time August was this dry was 1962 apparently. The winter of 1962-63 was brutally cold and snowy....I know....that is why I am putting this in banter.

  18. Lol. I posted that knowing it would get you
  19. Congrats on the 0.51” You’ve had over 12” now in July and August combined. You can stop posting about dust.
  20. 0.1" today. If that late night line materializes, I might still be able to eke out 0.5" for the week.
  21. Looks to be a very cool start to the month for the entire region. Some very impressive cold anomalies showing up for later next week considering the time of year and how far out this is. Definitely a difference from the last couple of Septembers where we were in the 80s and 90s well into the month.
  22. Woah, I did not realize it has been that dry down there this month.
