Was out for a 90 min Jebwalk here in Alexandria--turned to sneet just as i came back about 10 minutes ago, but our rates also dropped way down. Radar reflectivity dropped by a good 10 dbz, so can't imagine that's helping. Just under 5 here depending on where i measure.

30.8 and moderate freezing rain.

Shoveled for 2 hours and can't keep up. Say 5-6 inches so far. Instant stickage. 16 degrees.

Looks like all sleet now, I’ll call it 5 inches. This is a juicy system anyone that doesn’t changeover is gonna get big totals.

Took care of my sidewalks a bit ago and threw down some ice melt. Hoping that will make it easier later today

Moderate to heavy precip in Marshall right now -- maybe 75% snow, 25% sleet? It was almost all sleet about 20 minutes ago.

I certainly didn't get .40 in liquid, it was a total of .4 inches of snow, total, period, end of story. That sucked cause I knew not that far away was rather different. I didn't even have to shovel. Today, I'll need to shovel with snow falling and 7 degrees out there.

Possibly just rimed flakes but sounds like some sleet mixing in even here in New Market, MD.

9.5 degrees up here and dumping snow. Hope to stay snow for another 2-3hrs min with these rates i'd break 6". Sitting at 4-5" already.
