Part of me thinks he’s just bitter that the storm trended to a sleet/ice storm for his area and now he’s rooting on an enormous north trend to spite the rest of I-95 too.

It's a very large area of precipitation though.

They kno not everyone will adhere, but if your in a Prius and not legit 4 wheel drive, it’s your hint to stay home.

My call is already lower than the 12-18” that the other two big pages (EPAWA and LVWA) have. Getting just 6” would be a massive failure.

Warmest area of the country remains Plains/Northwest this month, with Montana running +10 in many spots. Locally we're down to +6F or so, but should drop closer to normal starting tommorow. Cold has reasserted itself over the East & Plains, and I still expect gradual retrogression to the West as we approach March. I thought January would be pretty cold in a lot of the East. No longer looks like a terrible call as cold continues to dump into the US. Notice any resemblance to the last week? Like I say, I'm annoyed it took a week longer than I expected, but hey we got there.

Years ago I feel like my weather obsession with Horst is what got a lot of you following MU. Whether you wanted to or not. Obsession with MU officially over. Riddle me this...how does he go over 48 hours in the 3 days leading up to this storm and not say one word about it? The only thing he mentioned all day yesterday was a frontal passage. It wasn't until late this afternoon that he fired up his storm thoughts. I don't want to be unfair, he might have a lot of other responsibilities right now, but that just doesn't seem right. I've been sharing and posting to work and family from the f'ing ocean. Do better, MU.
