  2. absolutely awesome storm ripped through westhampton last night 20 minutes after the fireworks. gusty winds, lashing rain, but nothing *too* severe like other people were affected in the forum. just a great show with very minor limb damage to trees. What are we thinking in terms of rainfall around SW nassau for the next two days? Driving to and from the hamptons this weekend I got a pretty good visual sense of where the worst of this vicious drought is and it seems like South West to South Central Nassau- and generally just the south shore, until around the Hamptons- has had it worst.
  3. Rainwater has been bouncing between 3-7" per hour, up to 1.25" and pouring.
  4. Between fireworks and thunder animals in general had a rough weekend...
  5. Man, did I just f****** drive through something . Dangerous situation unfolding out here on the roads Newberrytown lewisberry area The torrential downpour, I just drove through is up there with some of the best of them.
  6. Had a good thumping with the storms here today. Picked up 1.49" rain so far today. See if we can anything else this evening.
  7. Can’t buy a break around here. Missed yesterdays rain and missing everything around my by 2-3 miles. 0” here 3 miles away 1.8” in last hour lol
  8. So technical question: I know that outflow from one cell can kill another. But how does any cell manage to last any length of time and sometimes move 100+ miles without always chocking on its own outflow since that spreads out in every direction?

  10. Man look at those training cells out west over NY. Someone is going to get absolutely crushed. Wonder if we see a repeat of 08/17/2024.
  11. Believe me, I’m not complaining. My pup on the other hand has a had rough couple nights.
  12. Now that is split a bit I'm u see the bullseye of the southern cell, up to .73" over the last hour or so, streams running through the yard.
  13. The number of sea, bay and outflow boundaries has made following storm movements and warnings quite challenging the past few days. Presently, it appears a line is finally beginning to move into the area from Lancaster county.
  14. Major road flooding and I heard people screaming about there basements flooding across the street. They all depend upon sub pumps over there but there's no sub pumps if there's no power Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk
  15. Getting crushed in Hanover. Yay...I'll get to mow sooner.
  16. Went through my area beforehand. Seems like it maxed out right over you guys though. Had intense lightning and good winds with it.
