    That's at Sun and Surf Beach Club. I grew up in Queens went to Silver Point Beach Club just east of there for many years. Sad to see this happen there. That appears to be at least high end EF-0 and quite possibly EF-1 from the several posts I've looked at. Haven't seen anything that would make me think EF-2. Sent from my SM-S936U using Tapatalk

    I'm guilty of it myself but short range models definitely eyed this area for good rains for the last 24 hours. Many of the other big events this summer were definitely trending NW of the city at the end and the writing was on the wall.

    Rockaways/Long Beach have gotten some good ones this summer. I think it's a first for an actual tornado impact there, I think the last warning was in 2007. So many times the storms just go poof once they hit the marine layer there. In August the waters are warm enough to lessen that effect.

    Have not seen rain that torrential in a long time… and the winds were impressive after the heaviest rain passed. Nice and cool out now this evening… wondering if the worst of the humidity/heat is now passed on for the remainder of the summer?!?! Nothing real hot seems to be popping up in any extended forecasts!

    Sorry, 6:05 pm... just left Saulisbury rd of Dover, approx 1 mile west of the touchdown about 10 min ahead of that, poured rain the whole time home but I think I left work just in time.

    Was just heading south on US 13 south of Dover when the Emergency Broadcast came across the phone & radio, this is a pic of Camden, DE at 6:15pm.

    Collegeville had a severe thunderstorm warning and flood warning - by far the main thing seen was very heavy rain.
