Yes indeed it was light snow. about .25 here. Nice sight to wake up to, although you really need an inch to clean everything up. Any NNEers going to the GTG?

No, Not this time around, I will make one at some point, When they have one closer to Ray's area, 0z Euro smoked us up this way with over 1.50" qpf with downeast maine seeing 1.75". :snowman:

The DGEX drops the hammer on NNE as well. Let's hope this modeling trend holds.

Man it is refreshing to wake up and see that last night's models moved north. I would kill for 1" of QPF right now. With 16" on the ground, a nice foot or so would put us right up there in the "nice snowpack" department down here in town. A foot would do wonders for the mountain, too.

Still not getting my hopes up... expect that by tomorrow morning that QPF gradient is down in the I-90 corridor between ALB and BOS haha.

Event totals: 0.4” Snow/0.01” L.E.

Saturday 1/29/2011 7:00 A.M. update: I found 0.4 inches on the snowboard this morning, which is already more snow than we received in the Wednesday through Friday period.

Some details from the 7:00 A.M. observations are below:

New Snow: 0.4 inches

New Liquid: 0.01 inches

Snow/Water Ratio: 40.0

Snow Density: 2.5% H2O

Temperature: 21.7 F

Sky: Light Snow (1-3 mm flakes)

Snow at the stake: 17.0 inches
