I have been using mini splits for the last 8 years in my all electric/solar house. I monitor the electricity consumption of everything and its incredible how efficent mini splits are. I kicked mine on a few mornings this week and they used like 1-2 kwh running a few hours in the morning. Thats like 50-60 cents in electricity.
