pazzo83
did you guys see this? legitimately insane: This is like Charlotte or Atlanta having a low of 80F in January lol. Seems like it's indirectly tied to the developing Niño - apparently related to some insane snowfall in the Andes (because of the juiced-up Pacific) leading to downsloping winds into Argentina, which caused this. 1 1 2

Not much wind (26 mph gust) but picked up 1.07" of rain, which beat previous daily record of 0.99" from 1984.

Eskimo Joe
Looking upstream, if we can get these debris clouds over West Virginia to fade out, we should be okay for at least some thunder. The cluster of storms coming through Columbus, OH right now has an uptick in CG and seems to be drifting southeast. Wonder if that's our show for later? Eskimo Joe
1 minute ago, canderson said: Mind posting? On mobile so can’t look easily Sure thing. 12z HRRR: Around 3/4pm - Puts a couple of decent pre-frontal discrete cells from MDT south to DC, looks like one cell gets beefy east of Baltimore along maybe a bay breeze boundary? Around 4 - 6pm - Develops a respectable line of storms along I-81 and runs it from MDT down to RIC around sunset. That would be a solid slight risk day in these parts. If folks hold their expectations to that, then no one would be dissappointed.

BlizzardNole
Just got home after visiting away and it's dusty and dry so I watered my plants. P&C forecast thru tomorrow night has 0.5 to 0.75; 0.1 to 0.25; 0.1 to 0.25. My formula is take the minimum and divide in half so 0.35 total expected. Won't be surprised at a shutout though.
