Ya looks like swct will get mostly shut out today and tomorrow could be progressive.  I wouldn’t mind missing the flash flooding

Maybe it’s closer to Western CT, but you gotta remember Low will develop  later on tonight and at night as that happens the LLJ increases just saying to watch that area that’s all. Maybe it’ll be more progressive.

Ya that’s our opportunity to get bad , if that trains it will be trouble.

On a side note the local min golf spot in Oxford just reopened this month and they almost had another disaster last week with the 2” in 1 hour rainfall. They showed me pictures from the ‘24 flood and then last week when the river rose about 10’ in an hour and the mini golf is literally on the river about 15-20’ above it a dangerously close call.

Yeah, I could see that too, I mentioned that earlier. Plus they already had an inch or whatever today in some spots. I was thinking more tonight until Thursday. Earlier, I was kind of envisioning a little sort of low retrograding back and throwing some moisture in, becoming more stratiform tomorrow night to Thursday, but some of the models disagree now on that, so it might be closer to Worcester.

Actually, the 18 nam  was kind of what I pictured yesterday, but I know it’s the nam lol. But it kind of shows you what I was sort of envisioning.

 

I find these events very difficult to predict, you gotta look at synoptics and sort of climatology and try to figure out where the best rain would be and not knee jerk model to model or run to run.

I was working from home today.  Just got the house painted and was waiting for the gutter guys oddly enough.  They arrived at 2 and of course we got hammered at 3 pm.  About a 1/2" of rain in 20 minutes. There was a 5 minute period that was crazy.  They got the most important part done.  Based on the forecast, see you when I see you.
