LVblizzard
The apartment I live in doesn’t have AC and doesn’t need it because it’s partially below ground. That being said, today is the warmest it’s ever been in here in 5 years of living here. I don’t have an indoor thermometer but it has to be close to 80. Thankfully I can handle warm indoor environments better than most people so I don’t mind it.

I’m becoming more confident that we’ll miss triple digits at this point. ETA: Down to 96.1 at 2:55pm I was sitting in the DMV at KOP earlier. That’s when I learned that indoor swamp ass is a thing. @ChescoWx - how long has it been now since KMQS last broke 100? KMQS has only reached 100 degrees one time since records began on July 22, 2011 when they hit 100.4 - that was also my hottest day when we hit 99.1 degrees
ChescoWx
94.8 degrees for the high so far today in EN. This is now the 5th warmest reading here in East Nantmeal in the last 23 years back to 2004! Top 10 warmest are below...of note that same day 7/22/11 is the only day KMQS Coatesville Airport has ever recorded a 100 degree reading.

Chief83
Worcester, PA. peaked at my house 100.4. Heat index of 115. Went to see the Big Boy train in Linfield, PA. Really cool to see, but unofficial temp was 104 at that location, Really really hot, humid, miserable conditions. Mass Casualty Incident declared in Berks County due to the crowds gathered for the train. Don't' know any details, but based on what I saw (and felt to some extent) where I was in Montgomery County - heat exhaustion, fainting, etc. had to be some of the calls. Train was running about 1 hr late which made matters worse. Waited to take pictures only to get the message "Phone is too hot for the camera to work". The heat kind of made a memorable event of the train more memorable.

There were a handful of heat emergencies here, though, too. 1

Ruh Roh.... sorry Redsky he may have had a couple when he posted this..... but in addition to my station in SE PA in Chester County - the professional stations at Nottingham DEOS, Atglen DEOS, KMQS Coatesville Airport, Glenmoore DEOS, Nottingham DEOS, West Grove DEOS all failed to hit 98 degrees today. Me thinks all these professional station thermometers are not wrong!! Thoughts RedSky??

Physicsteve
Really impressive and dangerous temperatures and heat indices yesterday and today. With the deep cold earlier this year we have to be close to some record disparities between various metrics in a calendar year. It’s about as hot as it gets and was about as cold as it gets ‘round these parts. hope the nam’s right and we get some thunderstorms out of this soup this evening 1

ChescoWx
The low here in East Nantmeal was only 77.2 degrees. This is the 3rd highest minimum temperature since 2004. Another hot day today with temperatures close to what they were yesterday - mid 90's to near 100 degrees. Small chances of some showers tonight and we begin to slowly trim the heat with highs tomorrow closer to the mid-90's. Shower at T-storm chances ramp up later tomorrow and at night. We then fall back closer to normal temperatures on Sunday before we trend to below normal temperatures by both Monday and Tuesday.

LVblizzard
Looks like a much more comfortable pattern setting up for next week and beyond. I could see us hitting 90 again next Thursday (with maybe a decent severe wx chance) but every other day for the next week or two should stay near or below normal. Most guidance is adamant that the ridge will shift towards the plains/Rockies after this week and not really budge for awhile.
