Wouldn’t be surprised to see those overnight “lows” bump up. I imagine PHL records an overnight low of 80F or more next week. Only a T in the bucket today. Driest super El Niño ever. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. The Iceman
Anyone else having trouble getting on the weather.gov site? side note, as extreme as this heat event looks, more interesting to me is long range, afterwards doesn’t look at that hot. Usually these heat events are harbingers of above average months but this looks relatively short lived. Will be interesting to see the final anomalies for July. With how extreme of a start we will have, a +1 or +2F month would be cool honestly

My AC died in July 2011. Went 2 or 3 weeks before a new one was installed. I wouldn’t say I got used to the heat so much as I came to accept the poor state of affairs I found myself in.
