In fact, probably more likely to have a 1997-esque (or worse, 2009-esque) Summer than anything with the looming "Super Nino."

My modelling method would suggest the same probability for our sub. Lots of CAN air intrusion.

Got a good three week trip this May so somewhat glad for this lull while I am away

We did indeed have snow mixed in with rain around 4:35 this morning in northern Noble County.

Snow mixed with rain in Rolling Meadows about 7pm this evening. Fought it off with a cigar and firepit though.

Snow mixed with rain here. In recent years it has snowed in May in 2026, 2023, 2021, 2020, & 2016.
