Malacka11
If we're getting one more semi decent clipper in a few days then covering the grass with this one first would be cool. Ik I was talking big game about 12" or leave it but I hadn't fully processed that we could have one more mini winter period if we just get enough to stack at least Especially with the cold that comes part and parcel might as well play pretend one more time before next year 1

I do think cams particularly hrrr are underdone with snow. 1-2in I think is a good bet here. Hrrr barely had half inch.
mnchaserguy
2.5” of snow here so far in Blaine. Solid 0.5” per hour rate since 6:00 pm. Heaviest band has set up just north of the dry slot on the south side of the metro. We’ll see if that band makes it up to me much the rest of the night. . One the worst stretches of my life in that regard. Midland's climo history is not that great for Big Dogs fwiw. Harrison is marginally better but still kind in-between the target zones. It’s been a rough finish to winter. That’s for sure.

OrdIowPitMsp
Pity that MSP isn’t the bullseye but this should still end up with substantial totals at the airport. Going to go out and do round 1 of shoveling and measure soon.

mnchaserguy
This new band should help the totals a bit. All depends on how long it sticks around. Really coming down right now. .

cutlew
This new band should help the totals a bit. All depends on how long it sticks around. Really coming down right now. .Yeah coming down nice in this secondary heavy right now. 7” over here in Woodbury as of 7 am and I’m guessing MSP is doing at least as well given they reported 5” at midnight.Looks like jackpot zone of 10-15 from Rochester over to Wausau and then a buffer zone of 6-10 up to the southern half of the metro. Bummer for the north side though being so close. AIFS over the past few days was the closest with the placement. Most models showing 4-6” additional today over here so that 12-13 threshold for significant storm still in play for MSP?. cutlew
https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/md/md0241.htmlNever heard any thunder myself but the Lakeview, South St Paul, and Lake Elmo obs sites all reported thunderstorm in vicinity around 6 am
OrdIowPitMsp
Round 1 of shoveling I measured 7-8” depending on the spot. 12” storm total definitely still in play.
