12z GFS maybe a touch off but keeps the dream alive for N IL

Been a slight north trend recently so the front end thump misses us but the defo band still hits us hard. Has a secondary impact of turning this into more of a later Sunday and Monday event

I'm down for a defo band at night. Snow during the day in mid-March is not ideal.

Im coming out of lurking to hopefully drag this beast SE by 50 miles so I get crushed with a blizzard. As is I'll be riding a fine line between snow and freezing rain Monday night. Alpena had .40" of ice yesterday. Forecasted to get 6" of snow tomorrow and then Sun either 6" of snow, 1" of ice,then 6" more of snow or 24" of snow. Fun times!

Not expecting this one to be as bad as the last one on Feb 18th, but it will be a decent hit. Cirrus is slowing moving in this morning with light winds off the Lake. It will hit hard, and fast.

don’t worry detroit will somehow collect 4” in the next 2-3 weeks. It might take 3 clippers to do it. But they’ll get it.

Multiple models are hinting at a secondary defo zone blowing up across eastern Iowa and northern Illinois as another piece of energy rounds the base of the trough and lifts ne.

Green Bay would be a complicated drive for us. If I would go anywhere I’d go straight up north to Gaylord directly east of Green Bay pretty much and it would only take me just under three hours.

To be clear, GRB's all time record snowfall is 29" from 3/1-2/1888. Some model progs are smashing that even accounting for the earlier clipper.
