Wintry day with snow squalls. Just a T for me but 0.3" at DTW. Season totals 40.1" my backyard, 39.4" DTW. Some squalls had isolated whiteouts and the sky often resembled thunderstorm incoming.

Depressing.

This is fucking cool we do indeed need all four seasons

I plan to get it! Ive done it with my backyard before, and it's really cool, but sometimes when theres too many details (esp my conifers grow so much each year)...sometimes a simpler, wider landscape is the best choice.

Sunny cold day today. Went to the park and took a pic of a field because i thought this was a cool winter/spring contrast pic.

What's impressive about this season is how abruptly "winter" cut off for y'all, kind of simlar to 2009 and 2010 in fact...

Not Morch 2012 extreme, but both a top 20 warmest and a top 20 snowless March on record...

Looking into the long range, except for maybe some more snow squalls producing some more light dustings or a few more hard freezes/frosts, it's pretty safe to say you all are done until at least November...

Yeah, we had a legitimate shot at 100" for the year going in to March and it just quit snowing.  Looks like something in the 95"+ range is where I will end the winter.
