Makes no difference here if the Maritimes are chilly and there’s low heights there.

yeah agree-was talking more from a continental US approach-looks like the cold is literally routed everywhere-went from a big arctic outbreak and snowstorm chance to a 2 day cooldown and then that's it.

Once that cold air is routed from Canada, snow game is over.

.

Cold enough for snow-sure. I have little hope there’ll be anything else here other than maybe a minor stat padder event. But cold enough to make it nasty for days on ENE winds is another story.

I am praying that you are not correct in this assessment. Even if I agree with it

Huge contrast in temps today on the island. Low 40s on the barrier islands and socked in fog. Sunny at home but only 57.7 and low to mid 60s on the north shore

Much cooler than yesterday out here due to the fog

Yep-through April even into May it can be downright miserable living on the barrier islands. And especially this year-water temps still in the upper 30s.

This weather is perfect.  No need for it to be any warmer ever.  Can we just keep this until Thanksgiving?

Still some decent patches of snow around this morning, but doubt they will be there tomorrow.  72° now.

Move to San Diego.   Same weather everyday-the big thing there is how long it takes to burn off the fog

This is crazy. 75 today up here.  Patches of snow still in the shady spots in my yard - which can be forgiven given it was north of 25 inches a couple weeks ago.  Piles hanging tough but only shady areas.

maybe there is something to this extra hour of sun with eastern daylight time after all

Movie gif. Jim Carrey as Lloyd in Dumb and Dumber laughs, then composes himself, attempting earnest seriousness.
