Good morning from my south facing window.  Central MA.  Moderate snow, but just on the edge of the heavier band trying to push north of the turnpike.  Winds have been moderate with some stronger gusts.  Eyeball's guess is that there's maybe 6" out there so far.

Def possible , of course latest hrrr keeps it going so it will probably break up since it’s been wrong the whole time

The band does look like it may keep moving east so maybe it rots over us? Who knows lol. Incredible storm even if it doesn’t. Just sick stuff happening outside.

Glad I managed to sneak in about 3 hours of sleep lol

This is Nemo 2.0 outside. My god

Ok you made me get up instead of scrolling and listening to the wind. You’re lucking out! It’s insanity here wind wise but snow falling right now for ansonia not the same :( in comparison to Nemo where it just was dumping buckets of snow it felt like. Although a half hour could be the difference! Either way impressive. Orange is showing high in outages in comparison to surrounding areas so fingers crossed for you!

The RAP dry slots us for a while. The HRRR keeps us in moderate snow then puts the band to the west over us.

The differential between the high-pressure and the low pressure exceeds 1978 I think so. I’m not surprised they’re gusts at that level.

Gusting to 14 here :bike:

The mb differential is always fun but it mostly comes down to the strength of the storm, the LLJ, and the ability to mix it down. 10/10 on all of that down there this morning.

Radar weakened a bit here since I posted that, but it’s still sick outside.
