Heavy snow, ashburn. Looks like 1”/hr  rates. 32.5. Under that little band moving SW, we shall see how long it lasts and how it evolves.

So for us west of the bay..it’s all Norlun?  No chance from the low cranking?  I feel confused.  The low feeds the stalled trough?

I still think its coming together. Can still see bands coming from the SE through DC, and movement on the W side from the NW.  seems like convergence

Not ready to call the exact norlun positioning but it seems I may benefit from it at least partially

I'm teasing you, but certainly you're in a prime area for elevation enhancement and the norlun.

On a micro scale somewhere will get 8-10 from the IVT yes. But the way they increased a large area indicates it wasn’t IVT related. Unless they are just hedging and know they will bust high where the IVT misses.  Just wondering.

Feel like we’re maximizing this locally

Everybody was clowning me for saying it’s much wetter than forecast but it really is in our neck of the woods!

32° in Edgewater

Moderate snow with it accumulating on everything but the roads so far, although they are starting to get slushy.

Hello. Would appreciate it if you would comment on this website. It shows the swirling wind vortex near the coast yet at the same time shows a "Low" noticeably farther offshore. How are these dynamic graphics created? Accuracy?
