yikes this really cutting back for western sections and nw nj

I know it's hard to keep up with every model, so just a heads up this just moved way west. Canadian models have been out of sync with short term guidance all week. So this is it catching up. Just follow HRRR. It's nailing it.

Man, if that would only move NE to near Block Island instead of fading eastward as fcst.  Thankfully system is bombing in a big way to help negate the less than perfect track for us of the N & W contingent.  Still hoping for some banding to help us out here in the NW Jersey area.  Riding with my 12-18" fcst.

yeah this is all quite confusing; someone will post something saying its going west, another will post that its cutting back.

Well actually I was wrong I was thinking of it's earlier runs last night with nothing. It did cave big time this afternoon, however most of the diff from this run is it loses about 2 inches from snow that already has fallen.
