Any storm totals from Jacksonville?? It looks like it’s about to end there shortly. The radar last night looked like a good  clobbering from Jacksonville to New Bern. Interesting to see what they measure.

Gotta find my tape measure but we got buried lol

IMBY here in Jacksonville, I ended up with 14" with drifts in some spots 5' deep. Yesterday and today I sure did miss Skip. We would be emailing back and forth about this storm and he would be over the moon excited for everyone with all this snow.

I’m hoping to hear about some 20” numbers down that way, tons of drifts I assume to go with it.

Most numbers im seeing here between jacksonville and richlands from family/friends and fbook posts are around 15 inches with 2+ft drifts

Here just west of Jacksonville Nc not sure of my storm totals. The wind here was very strong blowing it around. I can say this  in my time in North Carolina dating back to the 2000's. This is the first time where the ditches around here are full of snow.  There are easy 2' snow drift if not even deeper. I am not sure of a correct way to measure because the amount of snow the wind was moving last night.  There were spots in the 1' to 2' drifts that were walked in that were filled up within 10 to 30 minutes. Also it was a dense wet snow here not the dry powder type i was expecting. What an incredible storm this was.

Reports of 33 inches of snow in Beufort NC!!!!! I don't know if I believe this.

Any official reports? I wouldn’t doubt someone hit 2’+ I was watching that deformation zone pivot all day and night. Incredible. Wish I had the time to have chased this one

Morehead city got 2 feet of snow at least. Friend says there are 4-5 foot drifts. Insane!!!

Love to see an accurate qpf output for the storm. We might have gotten more on the western end of CC… My parents are in Morehead and they just sent pics of >“20… The wind makes it near impossible to measure accurately, but my “perfectly” placed plant stand is a nice proxy

nonetheless, it’s been absolutely epic. And considering I moved my family from Raleigh to EI this summer, my snow curse is officially over lol

Down here in New Bern was officially at 12". Morehead was 13" officially at 7 am. Those reports of 2 to 3 feet are false. People really don't know how to measure snow properly. The drifts make it impossible to measure accurately.

Those totals seem a bit low to me given New Bern was in the double digits last night. Have these been updated? There’s 15-20” reports coming from the areas near and south of Jacksonville.
