senc30
4.5" here in Jacksonville. Started around noon and hasn't stopped since. Looking at the radar, it doesn't appear it will be stopping anything soon. Averaging an inch an hour at this time.

Considering it was nothing earlier in the week I was pleasantly surprised. We had several bands that were pumping out the snow. You know over the years I do believe your threads usually end up with a decent snow here in na ga lol it’s crazy. i feel for those in Raleigh - as I am sure a lot of us do. Living in the SE we have all experienced the dreaded dry slot or complete fail in what looked to be a great storm initially. It is so hard to go through that while there is snow all around you. I'm not sure I've ever seen that sharp of a dry slot like that with what's going on all over the SE, it's ridiculous to see that on radar. Unbelievable.

Snow is coming down hard right now, too, even though radar doesn't show it. That's interesting because, as you said, the radar over you doesn't look that impressive at all. I'm at around 6.25-6.5" in SW Winston-Salem.

We ended up with just over 4” and here’s a few pics from the storm. It was a great one for us and the biggest storm in NE GA since January of 2011, so a long wait! .
