I'm fine with continuing with some winter storm threats until about March 15 but on or around then I'm going to be itching for warmer weather. Obviously I know how springs go around here...could be 70F one day and 38F with drizzle the next but you just take what you can until June or so.

I have to laugh at some of the comments. If the models don't show something, the mood is, "we're done nothing's happening". If the models are showing there's a storm happening then the mood is, "this is awesome, let's get one more". 

I just think several people have winter fatigue at this point. If it happens, it happens. It's been a good winter thus far. Especially after having several years of lackluster Winters

Wow!  That was a crazy fire.  Headline said two hurt, which if true and the only injuries, is amazing considering the inferno there.

Everyone's hedging in their posting content, as is typically the case heading into March.

It's made worse now because we just clocked a blizzard near that amorphous seasonal boundary - some years more blurred than others.  Right now though, folks are triggered, all ginned up for more snowy storms; certainly reticent to face the fact that models and indicators end things ... pretty abruptly really on or about the 7th or 8th.   Not the 10th...  not 'hopefully we can get one of these events thru the 15th'  ...  

No one's asking for objectivity that wakes them up in the middle of their white dream but that annoying sound is the alarm clock. 

Again, yeah .. 'bowling' events can happen.  Valid aspect/risk of New England springs.  Farmer's gold blue snow.  Whether that happens or not, the season ends this particular year by nature's choice on or about the 7th or 8th.   Before that, these events look like seasonal coughers while the breathing shallows.
