I mean, we have an inch and a half here right now. lol at that depiction.

.

Per previous discussions fair to say we’re likely 2 miles apart. Not a great sample size but thus far you have 1.5” I have 0.75”. I think you could literally split Alamance co in half - hwy 49 and up union ridge rd they 62 is the line. Per that latest mess discussion. I keep hope. That being said wouldn’t want to be in Mebane right now.

It is still early for Wake.  It'll get cranking this afternoon.  Just be patient.

Just worries me that the start time Is now late afternoon evening with a end time around 1am. Sure we can pile up snow quickly in that time frame with the very cold temps. Just sucks because we were looking at a 12 to 18 hour event! Uggg

Oh yea

Our duration is shot

We need some rates

Without something special an inch or so seems likely-maybe 2

FWIW it’s been over-performing over here in NE GA, so y’all I’m NC are gonna get it hard! Just be patient.

Same for Buford and Sugar Hill.   We happened to be in mini-slot of snow and it has surprised people here.  Wrecks all over as it is quickly freezing from slush.  South on 85 seems almost clear though.  Probably 3 inches here all fluffy snow.  Vis is low with the wind blowing it.

In snowed here for an hour lightly then quit. It is certainly snowing in NE wake and east.

I’m in Rolesville and it is the lightest flurry that can flurry at the moment Z. But still a flurry.   It was a heavy flurry about 30 minutes ago.

Same at the Wake/Franklin line.  Very hard to think we will get much.  I saw @PackGrad05 say don’t lose hope may come on later for Wake.  Hope that means northern Wake too.

Yes! We got a convection band that absolutely obliterated us! It reminds me of the snow from when I lived in Michigan and it was a full white out. Supposed to have more convection bands move in over the next few hours. Definitely a great system for us in ME GA and the heaviest snow I’ve seen down here, besides my time in Michigan, which that doesn’t count lol

Stopped in north Raleigh. This is the saddest storm I think I’ve ever experienced here.

Dec 2000. At least this time we had the models to let us know it was likely gonna bust low before. That one just sucked the life out of everyone from nowhere

Sitting at 2" and the snow globe is still going.  Simulated radar shows more coming, but the real radar doesn't show it so I am skeptical.  Good luck to you guys up in the Carolinas to jackpot!

Yo!! It’s been a long ass time lol idk if you remember me, I used to be in your Gon Weather Forum and we had a Twitter Weather Group for a while?

Anyways, good to see you still around! We got 2” and counting too and supposed to get another convection band sometime this afternoon. It’s thumping in downtown Athens right now. Great storm for NE GA and the heaviest snowfall since January of 2011. Insane! Hope you’re enjoying it brother!

Yes sir!  Good to see you around posting.  I am hoping for more, but I am skeptical.  Back west of us, people are PISSED.  The cutoff line is sharp.  Roads are bad in Gainesville.  I saw where a guy was saying he got 5.5" in Habersham County but not sure if thats a drift or legit.
