  2. Just stepped outside-for the first time in a long time every insect in the trees is in singing mating season Its a total change Spectacular

  6. The rain in Garner was fun-for about 8 minutes I guess it was measurable lol
  7. I have had Zero measurable rain in Garner today A few hours ago we had gusts and the Big raindrops 3 feet part for 30 seconds It did drop the temp about 13-14 degrees
  8. I am "guessing" we might have had .25 inches in Garner I am usually close based on duration/rate

  11. I know it is not the Helne in the Mountains severity But I lived in the Triangle during Fran-and it took me a LOT of years to not freak out when we had strong wing gusts the dern trees falling...........

  14. There is very small "brook" which catches the storm water and flows down the edge of my property down to a creek in the woods It is flowing Been a long while..... Grandaughter calls it "Blue Water" It trickled when our 3 inches of snow melted a while back in Southern Wake But is really flowing for the first time in I guess many weeks Lovely sight!

  16. My Central NC daffodils started sprouting in this past December's late warm up They are still alive-about 5 inches Despite the cold ,ice, snow the last couple weeks I have several tulip sprouts this morning
  17. When its all said and done-3 plus inches in SE Wake is like once every 3 years lately I am good
  18. Lived in NE Wisconsin a few years it could be 15 degrees and the fluff snow would "evaporate" when it was 15 degrees but sunny There is a fancy word for this process lol
  19. Happy for all you Mountain folks Dadgummitt it is spose to snow in the mountains We got our 3 inch dry slot in Wake.That is a pretty good snow for us
  20. Its 8:50 in Garner it is definitely accumulating rates We shall see
  21. I would call it Steady Light in Garner Light because the flakes are small Steady because its relatively intense
  22. If the rates continue in Garner for 5 hours we may get 3/4 of an inch
