I certainly do not have the technical skill set to weigh in on this particular set up. But in all of my years here I have never cashed in on a ULL system in downtown Greenville, but i certainly have seen Spartanburg do very well. BornAgain13
Sure have thoroughly enjoyed tracking this with you all. Im definitely happy for the ones who dont normally see much. This is yalls big one possibly. I do wonder where that dry slot sets up and why the 3k NAM keeps showing it especially up this way.

Which is why I’m riding with the ICON from 3 days ago. Inside this range go with the 3km NAM/Euro/RGEM...they're going to handle this better than the GFS.

I could not believe there was no snow removal equipment within a reasonable driving distance. They just waited for it to melt Not completely true, there was equipment on site but it was limited for sure. Took a long time to get everything cleaned up. UpstateSCBud
Question for anyone near upstate sc. When’s the last time we had a significant snow storm where the majority of the snow falls during the day and not at night? Been here 37 years and don’t really recall any.

The Feburary 12th, 2014 snow happened on a Wednesday. I went to work that morning like everyone else. It started snowing around 10 or 10:30 AM and then everyone started leaving. Even though I lived 5 minutes away, it took me 20 minutes to get home. Some of my co-workers had to abandon their cars and walk home. Thankfully, Wake County had already canceled school that day.https://www.ncrabbithole.com/p/raleigh-nc-greatest-snow-picture-winter-weather 2 1
