  1. I’d wager that there were close to as many trees down 70 miles inland as there were from Hugo .
  2. I’m late on this one, but this looks like a typical winter storm where I-95 mysteriously blocks/melts snow for NE SC? Is that accurate?
  3. I’m beginning to think that this wall of dry air midways up the SC coast that has been eating all the precip all day has pretty much ruined our chances for snow in the NE SC area...
  4. So the precipitation seems to have been blocked at this spot for about the last 4 hours...
  5. Ok. I guess that “wall” is exptected to wear down at some point
  6. Looking at the radar, what’s causing the precipitation to just stop about midways up the SC coast for about the last hour and a half?
  7. Wow, it’s funny that here in Florence, SC we’re always right on the eastern edge of any typical winter weather systems, now we’ve got a system off the coast and we’re stuck right on the western edge!
  8. This would be a huge change considering SC is talking about evacuating the coast right now...
  9. Here in Florence, SC it appears we're going to get close to 1" of rain before the cold air gets here smh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Man, our forecast in NE SC has gone from snow to mix but I'm starting to think we get nothing but rain... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Not sure the best place to post this: 70 miles inland in SC... 47,000 of 52,000 in our county still without power (and projected to be out for a week), huge trees and power lines down everywhere, roads/cars/even some houses flooded, can barely get anywhere in town. The rain was predicted but it was repeatedly said that the rain would be the main problem. There is tons and tons of damage from downed trees, and the wind was very impressive. Gusts strong enough to knock you off of your feet... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hurricane warnings all the way up into NC now and TS warnings 70 miles inland in SC... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. It definitely shows it riding along the SC coast further north now (more north than Edisto beach now) and Hurricane warnings have been adjusted accordingly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
