With the qualifier euro run tenn valley location.  Dgex used to show these depictions weekly!  I cant see the rest of the run but id love to

I agree with this.  These Euro runs are DGEX worthy.  We used to get those regularly in winter…….

A thought that I had earlier- if we could go back and look at the sequence of snowstorms from 1960, would it look like this on the models?

Goodness. I don't have time to dive into the differences in the 12z and 18z euro. Looks like the system is slower on the 18z? What is causing this? Forum area is pasted and still snowing across the state?!

This is what BAM was talking about earlier in which to be some sorta inverted trough,he said the Euro was going to follow this.guess he will be disappointed,it seem the opposite is happening,good signs for us in our forum

Basically was the same run repeated.  Very little difference.  And that is hopefully a continuing trend.

The Euro has a less pronounced warm nose,it even looks better on the 18z,lets hope this dont change

This is the most important trend for me today. Need to keep that southerly 850mb flow south of us. Hopefully the AIFS continues that trend.

He makes no sense otherwise than wishcasting and riding the AI solutions because they put his backyard in a better position.

Marble countertop. Everywhere. January 1996 was like that here. around 4" of mostly sleet and ZR with a bit of snow. It took FOREVER to melt.

I think the blue line is the main run and green is the average.

Most of that in the forum area is frozen.  Some of you might sneak above freezing for a bit.  Snow or ZR.  Trended south.   I threw in the both full run and storm clown map if you wanted it.   



 

I'm coming on and checking out during halftime. This big dog is not for the expected storm this Saturday, correct? I saw a date of February 3 is why I was asking.

I'm in Chatty. I've seen this before. If we can manage 3" of snow that will be a huge win in southeast Hamilton County. We always teeter on the edge. Same as this storm. We are on the verge of a bad ice storm and a few inches of snow, and just a 20 mile shift in the storm with a little more cold air above could give us 6" of snow.
