You may not be hearing from some of the posters between ATL and RDU for awhile if some of these solutions verify. Honestly about any of them. Someone is going to get over 1” of ice somewhere and there will likely be a long swath of 0.5-0.75”

And thats only if the CAD is eroded which is insanely difficult to model. 2m temps are already riding that 31-33° range at that time for most of the metro.

I know the winter storm watch here starts at 1:00 PM Saturday, but it looks like the precip doesn't get here until after midnight Sunday.

Definite south trend today. With more recon data coming in, tonight could see more shifts

This a very nw of I-85 comment so ignore if you’re south of there, but in your typical miller b, there’s always an underestimated amount of front end thump. Happens every freakin time. Any more ticks like we’ve seen and it gets really interesting.

I had to refill our propane earlier at food lion and it wasn’t bad but she said lines were wrapped around the aisle

These slow methodical ticks south/more southerly transfer give me some jan 2022 vibes. That system was a lot drier but nonetheless.
