Back edge past here.  Just a few flurries remaining.  Sure looks nice out there.  After no wind all day, was near dead calm since daybreak the wind has picked up some and snow has started blowing off the rooftops.

Total for the day 2.8”.  Yesterday 3.4”

Two day total 6.2”.  Total depth currently is exactly 6”.

Real nice multi day event!

With all due respect.  If your kid is out in this. What are you worried about him getting up the driveway? Tell him or her to Buck up Johnny. And when they get home. Shovel the driveway.

we have a very long driveway its on an incline ,,,,,,,,,true story in the old days when I first moved here I drove a thunderbird and when it would snow I would have to back into my neighbors driveway across the street and then look left then right and if no cars or people were coming I would have to gun it to get up my driveway LOL,,,,,fast forward to when one of my other neighbors invited us to there house for a Holiday Party they were introducing me to neighbors whom I had never met and I shake hands with this one guy and who says " OHHHHH your the guy who drives that blue T Bird, I laugh my ass off when it snows and you back up into Gerrys driveway ":D ---ps my kid is still at work not coming home for a while

When he gets home. Tell him to shovel. He'll be ok.

Looking for measurements for our next PNS.

Please include location/time of ob.

Thanks!

For Sunday, 3.1" Sparta NJ 8:40 PM, snow has ended and skies are rapidly clearing.
Two day total 7.1" with 7" still on the ground.

Considering the back and forth with this event, I wasn't expecting even half of the totals I got.
I can't speak for everyone on the board, but no complaints from here on this weekend.

1.8 final. 3.3 for the day. 6 even 2 day total

Measured 4.5 to 5 around the yard so didn't lose too much to melting/compacting

3.3" from today's event? You're in Union Co or Somerset?

We’re going to bust low here. Maybe end with an inch. Is what it is. The next few weeks look interesting.

The whole island seemed to bust low

Through 7 pm, Central Park had recorded 0.9" of snow.

Pathetic. We had snow grains and light white rain until around 4:30 or 5 PM. Snow growth between 7 and 8:30 was great though, and should push them up to 2" total. Definitely not what I was expecting. Seemed like 3-5" was a good bet, but I had a feeling when that dry slot came through and snow growth was poor after that. Should be completely over by 9:30. Most of NYC and LI busting low. Yesterday was a nice surprise though, so there's that. I assume the 0.9" doesn't include the 0.5" from earlier?

This might be where you and I differ,,,,,because when one of my my kids or even my neighbor who works nites is not at home and working breaking their asses and I know from my own experience that the last thing I wanted to do after working some long hours was to plow or shovel my driveway so I would do this for my kids or my neighbor,,,,,,maybe you should move next door to me :D

Dry slot and then poor snow growth and marginal temps at best. Better than the storm being offshore like most models had it Thursday night, but not as good as model depictions from yesterday, which was a solid 3-5" for the area.

The 0.9" was the storm total through 7 pm. Some additional snow has fallen since then, so the final figure might wind up around 1.5"-2.0".

Picked up 2" from this second round to go along with 1" this am so right at my 3" prediction :). 2" yesterday so 5" for the two days. Remember late last week when it was looking like less than a half inch for sat and today's storm staying mostly south? At least for my area anyway.
