It was 30⁰ here, had basketball at 6:45...roads were a sheet of ice, rain clearly washed all the salt off and the road crews were all sleeping. Still 32.2⁰ here at my house, really need some warm air to thaw the glacier in my yard, taking the dog out becomes quite the adventure, might need some ice skates soon.

Playing or Coaching? Been a hooper my entire life. Now that im 44, all I want is a good run with guys my age. Sadly I can’t find it.

Still there but hard to really talk coherently about it given it’s like 9 days out. A lot will depend on what happens with the first one.

I been balling my whole life too, now I coach, both my sons teams, if it ain't half court I'm winded after a couple of up and downs, hard to find an over 50 league around here where I'm not being ankle broke by someone who was me 30 years ago, HA!. went down to harbor freight this morning and slipping and sliding until Torrington

I still occasionally go to the park and run full with my son and the young bucks. I can definitely hang and be effective, it’s just the next day, ouch. Man it hurts, lol.

Playing....should be a 35 and over pickup league, but usually some younger guys filter in, I will be 43. Its a good run either way, much better way to get a workout in. Two hrs of pickup ball, just like it was in the old days, lol

Balled over 40 league until 2010 when I skied off a 30 ft cliff and destroyed my body . My forte was rebounds , D and passing. Being 6'4" helped. Last time I dunked was around 35 though.  Miss it.

oof! I was a 2 stretch 3, when I got older, so basically a shooting guard and in college my center was 7'2" so I averaged like 15 dimes a night, that was fun, we barely had enough to field a squad but was fun...

Current Sun/Mon forecast for Fort Kent is 4-8", with perhaps some little bits Tues/Wed.

Had 0.15" last evening and today's max (38) came about 12:01 AM.  Only lost 2" of pack from the 12" after the last little storm, though sun and upper 30s might cost another inch.  By tomorrow night probably back to 12".  Driveway is glare ice - had to apply a half bucket of ashes so the letter carrier won't get stuck.

Yes, we’re gonna see what Sunday brings up there. If they can pull off 6+ that should solidify our plans.  So we’ll see? Thanks Tamarack:snowing:
