that's actually edison....but yeah not a good look right now. some say it will change over. i've not seen that often over the years....

Heavier rates are sleet just N of Trenton. Sneaky warm layer somewhere for sure, it's SN+ in LI.

so...there was concern about sleet at the end of the storm.....looking like an all night sleet fest to me around here. seen it a thousand times. hope it changes. sleet just isn't all that interesting to me. on any level.

NAM has been showing solid snow accumulations in northern Westchester. South of the NJ-NY border it has a big cutoff.

Yeah this is gonna be a mess, I’m at 29/22 down here and it’s falling as wet graupel and my driveway is slick as hell already.

The yellow line was the sleet line a few minutes ago. We'll see how heavier steadier rates can help it fall back west.

Nothing here in north Queens. Just light flurries. Heavier stuff to our east and west. Subsidence over the boroughs and sleet nearing Staten Island
