alex
Starting to make my way back home. Can’t get over how gorgeous the Alps are. Picture taken at Fort La Redoute right on the Italy/France border at 7900 ft, with Mt Blanc in the background (La Thuile/La Rosiere ski area)

I remember quite a few of them, I had 2 1970 Olympics back in the early 70's and back in the 60's my buddies parents had bought a new 1968 olympic, They use to have snowmobile races back in the 70's at the Lewiston Fairgrounds on the 1/2 mile track so a lot of those cats, doos, poos motoski, Sno Jet, Skiroule, Alouhettes and Mercs were all prevalent, That was the boom of the snowmobile era where all manufacturers were trying to get into the snowmobile business.

Engine basically in your lap and exhaust hitting your chest, no suspension to speak of - good times!

That island is gorgeous, was there several years back when the pats were last in the Super Bowl and the weather and people never disappoint. The views are just on another level too. Enjoy it man! It had .975 inches of rear suspension travel... well close, but it sure felt like it. I still feel it
