Late Mar/early Apr was snowy here. But yeah. Kinda meh otherwise.

The last really exciting wx event around here was Isaias which was many many years ago . Since then it’s been gouge your eyes out with a grapefruit spoon boredom

December of ‘20 was a great snowstorm. So was Feb 1st of ‘21…both double digits(a foot plus) and great winter storms. Then the Super Bowl event a week later in ‘21 was 8-9” too.   I believe all of those were after Isaias.  Blizzard of ‘22(not for here) but for a big chunk was another. Feb 14th of ‘24 was excellent here with 13”.   So there’s been some action.  But ‘25 has been stingy.

I think he’s looking for something that kinda gets you excited versus events like that.

Possibly…was just pointing out that there’s been some events since Isaias…although we are due, and I think we see some action starting in a few weeks.

Flakes were in the air a couple of hours ago here, first snow of the year! If the spine of the Green Mountains doesn't block all of what is showing now on radar, we're in for some more proper snow showers.

Very light dusting in the pre-dawn hours, gave a comical look to all the oak leaves in the yard as they were the only things holding snow.  Flurries now, 31.3F wind ramping up.

Meltdowns Nov 11 over not getting snow in SNE really takes the cake. Those posters are  not living in reality. Ave snow is 2 inches and the great majority of that is after Tday. I suppose it makes them feel better but cmon get real.

Since March 2018, there have been 3 events that I was honest to goodness thrilled with, enjoyed and wasn't dissapointed. 12/2019 snow event, 2/1/2021 and 1/7/2024.

Agree that at least the first half of December looks good, but lets see it produce. There have been several "giddy up" patterns over the course of the past several years that just dissapointed.

first frozen was last week on Nov 6 with those graupel showers.   today there are wind sent single flakes ... really sparse but they are there if one is nerdy enough to study the air.  ha

It’s been the worst and most boring 5-7 years of my life. Just brutal . Very little snow , severe, no tors , no canes in a lifetime .. just awful. And there’s no reason to think that will change despite the excitement from the master motivator
