Roller coaster pattern with precip mainly confined to N areas of the sub, and some LER/S for early Nov is what it looks like. Hoping mid month will see some decent organized stuff. I have something possible for Veteran's day on the 11th, and the pattern mid month may produce something worth talking about.

with roughly 4.0" for Toledo (August to October) this puts the area near one of the worst three-month (August to October) drought periods (46% or normal rainfall)

Wind adv out for today for strong SW winds. Leaves are blowing around pretty good. Last few days, lots of tweety flocks, and even a few geese flocks moving through.

Past few runs of the EPS really trying to sell our first snow chcs of the season up here. Something to keep an eye on, fs

The GFS is the only model showing any real snow this weekend around here, but all models show the first big push of arctic air.  It looks brief, however.

gfs still selling, others not far off

gonna be a raw one either way, especially lakeside

Watching the first potential action of the season bump south with each GFS run. Model mayhem season is underway. If anything falls here this weekend it will most likely be frozen.

Looks like about 60% of members on the 12z EPS have some snow during the day on Sunday, with that percentage closer to 90 when you include Monday, and the possible LE snow.

Some models had already been teasing some snow mixing in across Iowa.  Now the Euro has finally joined them.

Not sure why the gif is reversed, but I like the trend on the eps honing in on a deeper low, located right near the MI/OH/IN border, which would be pretty favorable for snow for us in michigan.

Now the euro is showing a more respectable storm. Bullseye around lapeer with 6+. Giving me Nov 11 historic early snow vibes. Looks like a slow mover as it digs and deformation snows deliver the goods. It seems like yrs since ive tracked a legit snow threat.
