Here's some weather underground numbers in Sussex County and adjacent Orange County se NYS. These might be a tad high but I think 1.5-2" totals are reaL.

My part of Wantage NJ on my Ambient reading 2.05. It cant handle intense rainfall rates an tips too much.  I'll have a number inn the morning.  Sort of surprised WPC and PHI have nothing out up here.

Radarscope 1 hr and STP's look accurate.

Been thundering here for at least 30 minutes per my dog Ollie barking (Cairn).

Pouring with thunder

I got 0.38" here. Obviously not enough to bust the developing drought, but at least it was enough to give things a desperately needed watering. I didn't water the vegetable garden today in hopes that we'd get enough rain tonight, so thankfully it happened.

Maybe some more later from the stuff down by Philly but seems like it will go to our south

Definitely overperforming tonight here in Warren County, NJ. Closing in on 2 and a half inches in Hackettstown and still coming down. Much needed rain.

0.7" here, gladly take it.  Been a mix of light to moderate rain, with some brief, but torrential downpours as well.

In a welcome respite from the dry conditions, last night's rainfall overperformed the guidance in New York City. The one day rainfall for yesterday of 0.40" was the largest since 0.51" fell on August 20 and the two-day rainfall into this morning of 0.57" was the largest since August 20-21 when 0.78" fell.
