Looking for freak on the streets but no sighting so far… On our drive up yesterday I was astounded at how far along the foliage was in southern NH/VT, less further north. Lots of color where we’re staying in Stowe. Staying at an Airbnb-beautiful setting. Daughter flew on from Chicago yesterday and we picked her up at BTV. Sunset behind the Adirondacks was spectacular. Here in Brattleboro, maples are all bright yellow, but everything else is green, mostly. If you look across the CT River at Mount Wantastiquet from town, it's a wall of mostly green still. It's like a straight up and down elevation change, about 300 feet (the river elevation ASL) to the summit (around 1,000 ft. ASL).
