I actually reinstalled. my house was an absolute oven last night ,and temps were not dropping much before bed time. reinstalled so i could get some sleep. will remain installed for the foreseeable future

It’s awesome out. The warmth hits differently with an early to mid March sun angle.

It is indeed awesome. I wore long pants for the first time in a while during the day, totally comfortable with t-shirt. Kinda sounds funny, but to me it means it's starting to cool off enough, a little, and I have always like fall and winter the best.

Perfection.

Brattleboro now 75/47. Best kind of summer/late summer type weather. I know it's technically autumn, but it has been do freakin hot all summer!

Oh yeah, I haven't even been looking at the local NWS forecast every morning as usual. It's almost the same every day...ha.

Couple of wildlife pictures. The first one was from a friend’s trail camera a few miles away from where we live and the second one was at the golf course today.

Here's a couple from my game camera in the wood yard. The deer were loving the rain . Not me...

Up in Stowe this week.  Looking for freak on the streets but no sighting so far…

On our drive up yesterday I was astounded at how far along the foliage was in southern NH/VT, less further north.  Lots of color where we’re staying in Stowe.  Staying at an Airbnb-beautiful setting.  Daughter flew on from Chicago yesterday and we picked her up at BTV.  Sunset behind the Adirondacks was spectacular.  Cooler today though but still nice.

Can't spot the reindeer sweater in a crowd?

All joking aside, I noticed the same thing this past weekend.  I think its been drier south and the trees were more stressed.

Was in Ludlow today, looks like NOV in spots on the drive over. Okemo 50% Leaf drop the rest brownish some yellow.

Still some rogue patches of color, but I would avoid that area if your looking at leaf peeping this weekend and certainly Columbus day.

It’s so early, it has to be drought related.  I’ve said it a few times but was shocked in Mt Snow area like 10 days ago.

Later up here but town is looking meh with a lot of leaf drop in spots.  Kind of going yellow/gold/rust and falling.  The Worcester Range on the east side of town and the Spine was looking decent, in the right lighting.

I think it has to be drought related.  I noticed it even on 89 from like Mreaves area down through Brookfield and the high terrain there is past peak too.

Oh, its 100% drought induced. The Taconic range on the west side of Manchester looks half decent, they had some half decent rain comparably speaking.

Here in Brattleboro, maples are all bright yellow, but everything else is green, mostly. If you look across the CT River at Mount Wantastiquet from town, it's a wall of mostly green still. It's like a straight up and down elevation change, about 300 feet (the river elevation ASL) to the summit (around 1,000 ft. ASL). If you're familiar, when it's peak color here, it's quite a colorful sight!

Best September for anything. Best August for anything. Come on October you can do it!

August was alright. September has been great—though I think this is the first one in a while where I didn’t have a chase opportunity.  It’s coming in October though.
