Don what would you say was more statistically unlikely- a 30 inch snowstorm at JFK (January 2016) or back to back 102 degrees at JFK in June??

Yep another historic day for me, 106.0 yesterday and 102.6 today and today would have been hotter but the clouds came in right after 1 pm

reached 102+ for the 4th time today when the sun wasn't behind clouds for more than 10 minutes lol, hit 102.4 here again at 2:45 pm before the clouds moved back in.

The air is so dry how are these clouds even around?

Three straight days at EWR and two straight days at JFK achieved !!!

If it wasn't for those clouds it would have been just as hot as yesterday, I hit 102.0-102.6 five times (most recently at 3:08 pm) and each time the clouds capped the heat.

The 30.3" snowstorm (10 sigma) is a rarer event than the back-to-back 102° days in June (6.7 sigma).
