There’s no way that’s your main lawn. Is that where you eat meals in warm season?

We have almost no flat ground at the house. If we were to eat outside it would likely be around the corner in the rose garden. This is the worst the lawn has been. It is a combo of very poor soil in this stretch, the dogs obsession with playing fetch, and possibly grubs. The soil barely drains water- I think it was largely waste fill that the prior owners put in when building. I plan to dig out the top 4 inches or so and replace it. I have tried to amend what is there but it hasn't worked. You can see the path the dogs run around the table to get tennis balls thrown over the table. I would complain but they have done a great job weeding parts of the yard as they make their paths. 3

kdxken
Gorgeous night. Doesn't get much clearer or refreshing. Looks like a decent week if we can dodge the showers. Nice to see no heat . Even in the extended extended.

Snowedin
Felt like a late summer day with the high sun angle and of course, the increasingly long daylight. The breeze did make it feel a little nippy at times but after the recent deluge, I can’t complain at all. Can’t believe how dry the air is too, almost desert like with this airmass over us. We take and bake!

Temp got up to 58 but it's chilly. Low temp overnight is 30-31 degrees. I'm super excited for tomorrow through Wednesday! I assume the black flies should be hatching shortly, but no swarms yet, so yay for that! Saw tons of them latching on to muddy puddles and shallow pools during my walk in the woods earlier. I think in less than a week it’s gonna get pretty rough with new waves of the little vampires fanning out in every possible direction.

powderfreak
36F at MVL. 35F at the station on the edge of the Stowe Country Club. That's the closest to me. River bottom and open field topography. As soon as you go a 100-200ft up it warms real fast. Very fake but refreshing. No match for SLK’s 30/27 right now.
