And west to Garrett County.

LWX added those two counties to the WSW

Eta - from updated evening AFD as of 9pm from LWX

NEAR TERM /THROUGH FRIDAY/...

The evening model runs have shown an increase snow potential
and snow amounts for parts of northern Maryland and western MD.
A combination of a favorable thermal pattern along with
increasing chances for near warning criteria snow has led to the
expansion of the winter storm watches to include Carroll and
Garrett Counties in Maryland.

Well DCA is positioned to get below freezing overnight for the first time in more than 2 weeks, so that has to be a good sign right?

On Tuesday morning here it was 24 that cold just vanished when the sun came up Tuesday temps zoomed back up to 44.  Last night I went to bed at 10:30 it was 33 got up at 5:45 am it was still 33 not too much cold air available around these parts.

And if this is the snow depth, I’ll take that 2”. It’s enough to cover the ground and build a snowman with my daughter. Then when it flips, we go back inside and have a hot chocolate

This! Enjoy what you get! :snowing:
