This storm is so weird looks like winter here drive down into amherst again to see the difference and some spots dont even have snow on the grass :o

Really is amazing how much difference 200-300' can make around here.   South Amherst especially the BL is just a furnace always.

These are some very good and honest reports. I really hope with this weak La Nina we can get a decent amount of blocking to get a good winter out of it. Here's to to keeping the hope alive.:drunk:

Yeah definitely looks like the valley north of Hamden county got screwed a little bit more. I'm not at home right now but pictures an hour ago from my son looked pretty wintry right in Enfield where I live at only 145 ft.

The whole stretch from Brattleboro to Northampton never got into the good rates for some reason.  Same with Berkshires.  South and east were best.

HRRR actually strengthens that band out west as it moves into E MA/RI in the next 2-3 hours. Could see another 1-2".

You could literally  drive 2 minutes from fall to winter

Haven't got an official report from BOS yet, but I think they must have already broken their biggest October snow on record? Logan's previous record was 1.1"

But Scott told us it was ending before then.

Probably safe down there, but there's some low level dry air starting to feed in from SW ME. I wonder if that starts turning SE NH and NE MA over to lighter snow soon.
