2" after the 12z runs. It's just moving too fast for anything more; 3-4 hours max?

you need the mid level magic over you. 3 hours of that is easily advisory. The issue is it's been teetering back and forth with the nice lift over you.

You can pretty much toss the pretty QPF maps and focus on the lift from 03z to 9z and see if your under big V'V's but you are in a very good spot (relatively) with this one

It'll be 5 weeks for some, since this "storm" is missing many.

Any winter when you have to punt 5 weeks is going to take a major hit for the overall grade of said season. We will have to absolutely ace the last 10 days of Jan/February for a letter not to be sent home to the parents of winter 19/20.

We knew today would be a really good system for hallucinations...I mean, can you think this would miss if you had no model information?

It’s tough, there’s a bunch of convection in VA that looks to be skirting off shore and the lighter stuff on the NE side of the precipitation shield is eroding a bit. Looks like that pinwheel under CT and East could be beginning. But, I guess it’s easy to assume that when I know what guidance has been showing.
