0.59” in my back yard so far. Planned ahead and did my annual load up my car with plants. The only thing I ever ask for on Mother’s Day. Got my deck containers planted to take advantage of Mother Nature’s free water. Garden plants are on the patio in their pots. Kids are making me Coconut Curried Shrimp for dinner as I sit in my PJ pants. Would have liked it warmer but I have my family and that is enough for me.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms here.

1.05" from this event.  Brings the total here the past 365 days (since the first flooding rains of 2018) to 74.57"

0.51" today.

Rte 450 closed for high water at the usual place. Nothing new here.

You must live in my neighborhood. 450 has always been bad but it's been horrible for the past year. It's basically always flooded.

Coming back from lunch yesterday on the eastern shore, I was detoured on to Rutland Rd off of 450 when I was dropping my mom off.  The Severn was a muddy mess too.  Back home, another .82" yesterday and 5.08" for the month.  I'm looking forward to drying out after today.

Some more record low max temps today.

Had to put the heat on late last night.

Loving this cool air!!

Would be sick of the rain, except that its peak of my allergy season, so waterlogged or not, bring it!

Where the F was this pattern 4 months ago???

Just miserable outside. I’d rather 95 and sunny over this crap.

this is probably one of the few days we'll have like this until fall, so i'm ok with it, but yea i'll take summer.  got a couple plants, too, that probably are looking forward to the sun as well.

So uh...I'd love for this year not to end up in the top 5 wettest years again...all of those years were followed by average snow (like last winter) to below average snow...no 20+ inch totals on that list (last winter fell right into line, smh). Really been an incredible run of rain we've been on!

i've never seen such a prolonged period of precip here which makes this last winter even more subpar knowing how much snow we could have gotten if it was cold enough.  we could use a mini drought at this point, no question about it.

Not complaining about the cool weather. There will be plenty of warm/hot/humid days in the near future.

Would be nice to see a dry stretch while its still on the cool side though.

1.7" since Friday night.

Rainfall total for May is now 4.3" here.

Right now Wed through Friday look spectacular, other than a slight chance of afternoon/evening showers. Upper 60s to low 70s with plenty of sun.

Need that times about 5. 15 days of dry with minimal rain would be a huge help.

.77” so far today. 4 consecutive days with measurable rain totaling 1.90”. 56 degrees and looking radar it looks like a heavy rainer on the way. Soggy. An odd few days...

4 consecutive days between 0.40" and 0.53".  Total of just under 2".

I had 2 days UNDER 0.40 but 2 days OVER 0.53 to total 2.23.

Latest LWX forecast for Arlington is calling for mostly sunny in the morning then clouding up with a chance of showers this afternoon/tonight.  Hopefully today is the last day of the chilly/mucky weather.

My flowers are yearning for sun and warmth.

Wow, it's nice out there!  Cool dry air, cloudy, and breezy.  Oh am I ready for Fall!

2 months and 1 week until NFL camps open.

3 months until Octoberfest hits the shelves.
